Today it Elias's 4 th birthday. Elias you are getting so big. I can't beleive that 4 years ago today, Daddy I drove to the hospital at 6 in the morning. I had been having lots of contractions and daddy just didn't want to go to work. We were joking with the nurses once I was in labor about how I had to have you by lunch because I was hungry and didn't want to miss lunch. So like the good kid you are you were born at 1315, and I got to eat lunch on time. So did you! We were so nervous and excited to have you and bring you home. You have been the most amazing addition to our family. You are so quick witted and smart. You say the cutest and sometimes the most frustrating things! Just saturday I was talking to you and you put your fingers in your ears and asked what? I laughed so hard I couldn't even get mad at you, but don't try it again I'm sure it won't be funny the second time!
Saturday we had a birthday carnival for you and invited some of your friends and family. We played pin the tail on the donkey, bean bag toss, finger painting, and Grandma K did face painting. It was so much fun to see you play with your friends and just have a good time. You got some great birthday gifts. A huge dinosaur that roars and falls asleep snoring when you don't play with him. A cars tent, sheets, a truck with a trailor (you love to "trailor this up"), How to train your dragon movie and backpack, moonsand, cars puzzle (which Sunday you put together all by yourself!!), a motorcycle, a huge monster truck, and your teddy bear Scout who you sleep with every night!!
